Why we built Extent
A bot that works for you should be something anyone can have, not a luxury.
A bot that reads your mail, watches your flights and messages you when something needs you is useful to almost everyone. Today it's expensive. Most agent apps make you buy their own AI plan, or bill you for every token through an API. A bot that works all day burns through tokens fast, and the bill grows with it.
You probably already pay for Claude or ChatGPT. That plan gives you far more use than the same money buys through an API. So Extent runs your bots on it. They share one memory and use the apps you connect.
What you pay us for
Each bot has its own computer in the cloud, for browsing, files and code. That's the part we run, so that's what you pay us for. We add nothing on top of the model, and you don't need a second AI subscription.
We think this is the fair way to price it. It's also how bots like this get cheap enough for people anywhere in the world.
